Alexia
I’m Alexia Thorpe, the founder and massage therapist behind My Muscles.
With a Diploma in Health Sciences Therapeutic Massage and a Diploma in Health Sciences Massage and Sports Therapy from the New Zealand College of Massage, I bring over 11 years of experience to My Muscles.
My Muscles began in Auckland in 2014 (don’t hold this against me). After nine incredible years of offering our services and building lasting relationships, we made the necessary (and Covid-infused) decision to move south to the greener pastures of New Plymouth in 2022.
Craving a more relaxed lifestyle, we set up our clinic, on the side of our property, just outside of town, where we share a clinic alongside my wonderful mother, who is a third-generation chiropractor at Bryce Chiropractic.

Our serene rural clinic is just 10-minute’s drive from New Plymouth heading south, located past Omata, before turning inland on Koru Drive. You’ll find us just a short drive past The Green School.
We are conveniently located only 7 minutes from Oakura and a 10-minute from Spotswood, New Plymouth.
